South Korea, Laos Upgrade Ties

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung and Laotian President Thongloun Sisoulith convened a summit in Seoul on Monday, where they agreed to upgrade bilateral relations to a comprehensive partnership, according to the South Korean presidential office.

During the meeting, President Lee emphasized that Seoul considers Laos a key partner in developing resilient supply chains for critical minerals, his office stated.
